RFK Jr. and Matt Gaetz have been nominated for major positions within the Trump Administration but, their records should disqualify them from consideration.

Donald J. Trump won the election decisively on November 5, winning 312 electoral votes and shocking the Liberal Establishment. He has already made several choices in his cabinet, making it look quite different from his first administration.
The President-Elect has made some very strong decisions this time around – with staunch Israel allies Elise Stefanik and Marco Rubio being chosen as UN ambassador and Secretary of State respectively. He will face less road blocks this time around for his nominees because Republicans will have 53 seats in the Senate.
Much of the Trump cabinet has yet to be selected, and I believe that he should not include current HHS nominee RFK Jr. in the administration. RFK Jr. is a lifelong Democrat, and he has made too many questionable decisions in the past.
RFK Jr. has spread far too many conspiracy theories in the past. First of all, he has proliferated the idea that the CIA was involved in the assassination of his uncle, John F. Kennedy, a claim that was proven false by the Warren Commission. We should not have a potential cabinet member undermining our government.
Worst yet, in a Rolling Stone article in 2005, RFK linked autism to childhood vaccinations. The idea of appointing RFK Jr. to a public health role is disqualifying because conspiracy theorists must stay out of government.
A recent story showed a photo of RFK Jr. posing with a dead dog in Patagonia. This is not someone who should be in Trump’s administration.
RFK has no place in President Trump’s second administration. At the same time, Trump must not make the same mistakes he did during his first administration by allowing bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci to make bogus rules like the six-foot rule to curb the freedoms of Americans.
President Trump so far has done a fine job selecting his cabinet members and can continue doing so by choosing experienced Republicans as members. He should not put life-long liberals like RFK Jr. in his administration who would be counterproductive to the advancement of a prosperous America.
In that same vein, President Trump recently announced that he was nominating Representative Matt Gaetz to be the next Attorney General of the United States. This is a terrible choice for the position, and he must rescind this nomination.
I attended a House Judiciary Committee meeting earlier this year in May. At the committee meeting, I was able to speak to both Democrats and Republicans. I expressed my worries about being a Jewish student on Penn’s campus during the encampment and thought the Republicans were more empathetic. I was, however, disgusted by my interactions with Matt Gaetz.
Representative Gaetz was exactly the same person as the one described in the news and by his peers in congress. In one conversation I had with another Penn student, we discussed who could potentially take over as the next President for the school. I recommended Former Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey or even former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Jr. to take over. Overhearing us, Matt Gaetz responded to my comment by saying, “we don’t like those guys.” That jeer comes from someone who has spent the last several years dividing the Republican Party and creating chaos in congress. It comes from someone who must stay away from the Attorney General Office.
I was also disgusted by a comment he made about particular Jewish students. In a conversation I had with Gaetz and another person, the other person made a reference that two particular Penn students, who were strong advocates for Israel, were more loyal to Israel than America. Gaetz then nodded in agreement with the student.
This comment was another horrific example of anti-semistism by Matt Gaetz. This comes after he once invited a Holocaust Denier to the State of the Union.
Former Representative Gaetz then came down to the encampment after the hearing, dressed in disguise. From the Trump National Golf sweater he wore, I immediately recognized him, and I decided to approach him.
I was discussing with him about how Ben Sasse, then the president of the University of Florida, was handling the Palestine Protests at his school properly. Gaetz then decided to call Sasse, a former Republican Senator, a “Pussy”.
My experiences with Matt Gaetz are not at all him at his worst. He has been under repeated investigations by the Department of Justice, and the House Ethics Panel was set to release a report about him. Gaetz has been accused of sex trafficking, illicit drug use, and sexual harassment.
Matt Gaetz acts like a college frat boy who thinks that he is still in his undergrad years. He is a loser who belongs nowhere near Washington D.C., let alone the Attorney General position. Feel free to look up “Matt Gaetz 17” if you want to learn more about why Matt Gaetz should be nowhere near the Trump administration.
Overall, I believe that for the most part, President Trump has made strong picks for his cabinet. Marco Rubio, Elise Stefanik, and Michael Waltz are all great picks, but I believe that he must withdraw his nominations of RFK Jr. and Matt Gaetz, or the Senate should reject them. Instead, President-Elect Trump should look at bringing back Alex Azar as his head of HHS and bringing in Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt to be the Attorney General.
